I’m L2 Miguel, and Skycellum is something I’ve been building on my own, piece by piece, over many years. I made every part of it. There’s no team, no corporation behind it. Just me in a small apartment in Brazil, trying to create something bigger than myself.
Skycellum is a visual podcast about the will to live. It aims to answer the question: how can a person feel alive in an age that seems spiritually and emotionally exhausted?
The road to this iteration (both concept and format) of Skycellum has been long. From ages 12 to 21, I mostly explored media and art while also picking up skills like video and audio editing, 3D modelling, music production, script writing, and much more.
After that, my creative output became more intentional. I knew I wanted to create a project large enough that it could be considered (or turned into) a franchise that people can be immersed in. Hell, the graduation thesis I presented to the Advertising course in 2022 in Brazil was titled "The birth of a new global media franchise" and studied brand communities and how you shape your brand to turn customers into fans. You can read it here.
So the vision was real, but executing it with no resources was challenging to say the least. It led me to produce a variety of work, such as music, books, and more:
While I'm proud of the past, the present excites me more. Weird conceptual and multi-format ideas led to the creation of a visual podcast that feels, sounds, and looks unique.
Skycellum is my life, and now it’s yours too.
